Help Brussels By Sharing Love.

help brussels - show solidarityWe’re all in this ball together, peeps, and we either hang together or we fall apart. That’s kind of what Aina’s all about – let’s all reach out and touch someone else’s life, right when they need it the most, because lord knows we’ve all needed that hand in our life, too. So our project this week doesn’t involve sewing or crochet or kits. Nope, this week we’re just asking you to reach out and tell our fellow humanity in Brussels that they’re not alone. How can you do that? Grab that phone of yours, take a picture that expresses your solidarity, and post it on a Brussels group wall. We’ve got all of the deets below…

OrganizationTwitter

The Low-Down:

Yep. That’s right. This one’s on Twitter. If you don’t know what Twitter is, it’s an online social networking service that enables users to send and read short 140-character messages called “tweets”. Registered users can read and post tweets, but those who are unregistered can only read them.

The Deets:Help Brussels - Show love

  1. This one? This one is super easy. Take a picture on your phone. It can be a picture of you, a picture of something you love, or a picture of some art you’ve made. Just a picture to show that you care, that you are a part of the world that CARES. Then post it up on Twitter with a hashtag #JeSuisBruxelles. Then scroll through all of the other thousands of pictures, texts, stories, and feel the love. We ARE going to beat this, peeps. And that pic? That one’s Carmen’s. Look for it :).

Brussels Thank-you

UPDATE: So guess what? Here’s our thank-you for sending that pic. It made it up on a building in Brussels, and a Twitter user snapped a pic of it and sent it back. Feels pretty rad to be able to send and share that hope and love, huh? Join our Facebook wall to get a thank-you pic for your next project!
